Revive the Music

If music is a universal language, then why can't I understand it, why can't I see how artists that teach kids to be drug dealers and thieves, can be praised as musical geniuses, and for some reason i don't understand how real musicians who work hard are pushed to the side. I want to revive dead arts like rap and hip-hop, and restore the future of a the lyrical language,thus giving hope to future generations such as mine
