Later School
School should start later! Some reasons why are because students would have less problems at school, have more sleep, and less health problems.
“Oh no! I didn’t finish the homework!” That is what all people say since they were so busy all day that they didn’t get to do the homework! Luckily, they have enough time to do it in the morning. “Test! Oh the Test!” you can study in the morning and still remember things for the test. They could make good use of their time in the morning.
7 hours is how much a person gets of sleep, but what we need is 9 hours of sleep, plus (scientifically proven) your brain is more awake at 10. On top of that, you have less behavioral problems. No more waking up with a grumpy, and wake up with a smile on your face! Now you don’t have to sleep in class anymore.
It really affects your health! “Loss of sleep can cause diabetes by decreasing insulin” –NSF (National Sleep Foundation). Also, less depression which is really awful since it causes your life. On top of that, if you are in high school and drive a car you can get in a car accident, since you are sleepy and tired!
This is why school should start later, since your life is on the line!
