Listen To My Words
I want my words to cut deep inside your mind and infiltrate, your brain. I want you to look back on all the things that you have said, and done to me. The times that you took me, my people, tortured us, used us to do all the little things that you never wanted to. You sprayed us with hoses, and beat us because we weren't as good as you white people. You treat us like we are dogs, like we are not even human beings. We are all the same, we come from the same blood, so why? Why do we go day after day being called names, and getting treated different because our skin is a different color. I’ll never understand the meaning behind all this, I was put in a world that was made for white people. I want my words to enlighten your brain and ask: Why have you done these things to me?
