What the Flag Means to Me
The American flag a symbol of pride, honor and unity. That’s what the U.S flag symbolizes. We show our pride everyday by saying the Pledge of Allegiance and celebrating the 4th of July--but most of all, we show that we are proud to be an American, because we have so many right and the freedom to do what we want, The United States of America gives us the opportunity to feel proud of ourselves and we show our pride.
We also honor those who gave their lives by fighting for our country. We honor those who left their families home while they were out in the battlefield risking their lives and their opportunity to get so see their families again, We honor those who came back home alive. They represent our country and our flag.
Americans all symbolize unity because through the rough times, we stick together like family. We are all Americans. It doesn't matter the color of your skin, or where you’re from. What matters is that we stay together, and that we fight together for the flag because it show you what being an American feel like.
