Wisconsin Winter
Winter gets neglected by many people because of unrealistic opinions. The harsh and cold tundra of Wisconsin is fair reasoning but is contradicting. People don’t understand the true beauty and opportunity that such a torture-enducing season could bring.
When the first day of winter hits, all of the depression kicks in. Families lose loved ones to dangerous road conditions, the wind is uncomfortably cold, and the skies are ever gray. However, you cannot avoid the dangers and sudden depression of the season. It’s something that was gifted to us that we don’t see as a gift but rather a curse upon humanity. Winter can bring great opportunities that are hiding under the deep blankets of snow.
As a kid, I wanted to try skiing. Seeing people travel at such speeds encouraged me to pick it up. As soon as I knew it, I uncovered the snow that was covering my opportunity. It is now my favorite sport by far, and all I wish was that I could do it year round. I wish that I could travel around the world to pursue the constant adrenaline.
But Wisconsin’s winters won’t let me down, they brought me this opportunity. By accepting the fact that something will never go away will come with a great opportunity.. Giving something you hate a chance could really change your life for the greater good no matter what it is. Everything that isn't given a chance doesn’t have maximum potential until it is given chance and thought.
