Is Skateboarding a Sport?
lots of people believe skateboarding is just an ordinary hobby that shouldn't be considered a sport I beg to differ. Activities that people consider a sport should include: physical activity, specific skills, and determination. for example a sport like football requires upper body strength, throwing skills, and determination to win. Skateboarding just like football has those specific qualities that confirm it as a sport. To skateboard you need leg strength to even ride the board, balance skills to be able to stay on it and land tricks, also the determination to commit and land tricks is also needed. This is no ordinary hobbie or activity skateboarding is a sport that athletes aspire to get better at.
