An Ode to Harry Potter

I close the book
And the cover exhales
Three short words
To wrap up the tales
Harry is grown
Hermione's a mum
Ron's kept his bride
And my heart is numb
Why do these words
Affect me so?
They save me from sinking
To an all-time low
Cedric has passed
And Sirius is missed
But Dobby is free
With sweet Remus
And the tears so whisper
Pleading to stream
Because if books are just words
Then my silence is a scream
