Mother Nature Cries
(A Poem Of Distress As The Earth Spins Out Of Control)
My eyes rot like fruit of the earth polluted
No part of nature left untouched, Earth left to spoil
Mankind throwing away her home, a blue diamond
Finding myself wrapped in a plastic universe
A parallel universe filled with archaic ritual
A flake of gold in the mist of fields of brown
As children take up the cause to be green
Desperate acts of attention do not avail
My imagination expands; forms a silver bird
Youth of the earth have bought me a bit of time
