Grey Skies Will Change Our Perspective
Melancholy clouds won’t change your mind,
About the world and all mankind,
But will you make it new, this time?
Make coffee in the morning time,
It’s worth the wait for what you’ll find,
Within yourself, this time.
The flower pots are filled with rain again,
A thousand skies will fade to gray again,
You feel that you have gone insane again.
Hurricanes ravaged our town and we’re the only two around,
A thousand bricks will crumble, and fall to the ground.
Through the right pair of eyes,
You can see, the sun will rise,
It’s just about a miracle,
The world can be so beautiful,
Even in the worst of times.
Melancholy clouds won’t change your mind,
About the world and all mankind,
But will you make it new, this time?
