Dead Roses
Goodbye,
you said you wouldn't cry,
but it'll happen anyway,
it just shows you're not as strong as you say,
Cause there's dead roses sitting in a vase,
crying your eyes out,
staring at a picture of his face,
Before you break down,
you'll say grace,
and you know better than to,
loose your cool and
let your heart break in two,
but you can't stand the pain,
on your sleeve,
wearing like a stain,
you heart is broken,
Cause there's dead roses sitting in a vase,
saying a prayer,
staring at the picture of his face,
You should know,
he's not gone,
just not around,
and soon you'll see,
you can pull yourself off the ground,
You said,
he'll be home,
he'll be home,
but he never did come home,
So there's dead roses sitting in a vase,
wiping your eyes off,
staring at a picture of his face,
Just say good bye,
Just say good bye,
Just say good bye.
