Someone
I onceknew someone
Who always said they were done.
Done with living,
And done with giving.
"Life is so plain,
Yet so full of pain."
She just couldn't leave behind
Those terrible thoughts in her mind.
Reminding herself that someone cared
Had become a daily affair.
All her fears
Came out in her tears.
No one ever heard her yelp,
as she tried to call out for help
But people continued to wait,
Until it was too late
