Love
Love to me is the small fragment of light in the middle of a dark mysterious forest
And the tiniest ray of hope when the world is crashing down on you
Love can be the anticipation of seeing tomorrow
And the courage to withstand the pressures that it brings
Love is purple for royalty
Always sitting high but looking low.
Love is the sweet aroma of red velvet cakes
Freshly baked in Grandma’s kitchen during the Christmas holidays.
Love is a peaceful blue ocean on a tranquil spring day
But can be as full of wrath as the hurricanes it creates
Love forgives
And never holds grudges.
Love is the beautiful pearl, hidden, but always ensuring that it will be found
