All Alone
Looking around she sees no one,
All she sees are the birds singing in the trees.
Looking around she hears nothing
She doesn’t hear a peep out of anyone.
The only noise is the whistling of the tree,
As it hits the window with a bang.
Looking around she feels a cold wind,
She gets the sense that she is on a solo mission.
Looking around she has a feeling,
She feels isolated from the outside world.
She feels like everyone has deserted her,
I can read the writing on the wall She thinks
Looking around she starts to cry
She wonders why the wind can be so calm and the day so halcyon
She wonders why the world can continue after her life was ruined.
Now she only feels one thing
