As Sisters We Go
“As Sisters We Go”
We came as strangers, young and afraid
No clue as to the friends that would eventually be made
Soon enough, we bonded together as one
Five years cannot possibly already be done
But reality set in, life changed before our eyes
Those little girls have grown up, it’s truly no surprise
The memories that we all hold so very dear
Will never be forgotten, to our hearts they will be near
We picked each other up when someone would fall
Laughter, tears, struggles, we’ve been through it all
From one side to the other, our tassels we will flip
As the words “goodbye” are heard from our lips
But we know that it is what’s meant to be
The class of 09 is being set free
We grew together as one, that fact we sure know
Like strangers we came, as sisters we go
