Revelation From the Faucet
This
afternoon I
took a shower in the
dark.
This was no ordinary shower - or maybe it was.
It was the most comforting,
the creative
the hottest.
I didn't
break out into song this time
and I didn't
break out into tears.
I just sat in it,
letting the water
cleanse me from that
faucet so high up above me.
There was a revelation.
I had used my
dad's Axe shower gel
for conditioner.
I smell like man.
