Identity Crisis
I don’t know Who I am
I am Angry and Fierce
Happy and Courteous
I bounce between the extremes
I am never Myself
Sometimes I shine through
Dispersing the Black Night
Or when You pick Me
Plump and Sweet and Furry
Dangling from the brown twig
Above Your head
Just out of reach
That is when My true Colors come out
They morph into Emotions
I become Feeling
I fluctuate between them
Yesterday, I swam with sharks
Today, I twist my hands at the idea
Tomorrow, I will be Glad I did it
I can never settle
And it unsettles Me.
