Change
We sit outside and watch the stars fall
 They brighten up the night
 Everything seems so simple
 But nothing is alright.
 We're silent as we watch
 What happens all around us
 The few words said hide
 That nothing is alright.

The land around us is disappearing
 We're driving it all away
As the world becomes more scary
 Nothing is the same.
We notice the bad and not the good
And we raise kids that way
The world isn't going to get better
 If we don't change.

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” <br /> Leo F. Buscaglia
