At Time's Mercy
The clock ticks by as we all wait anxiously;
Tick tock.
When will the bell ring?
Tick tock.
Why is the clock moving so slow?
Tick tock.
Time won’t move for man,
But how about a woman?
Tick tock.
Endless waiting torture!
Tick tock.
I want out of this class!
Tick tock.
Why does time have to rule our lives so?
Tick tock.
Hurry up!
I want out!
Tick tock.
Why are you doing this to me?
Tick tock.
You’re aging me by two centuries!
Tick tock.
I think the clocks broken.
Tick tock.
Slowly…Slowly,
The hands move millimeter by millimeter.
Tick tock.
Do you enjoy my silent pain?
Tick tock.
Stop the never-ending madness!
Tick tock.
My ears are going to fall off.
Tick tock.
The teachers still screaming his lecture;
Unaware no ones paying attention.
Tick tock.
Make him shut up!
Tick tock.
So annoying!
Tick tock.
My heads going to explode!
Tick tock.
Bell rings;
Everyone’s running out.
Tick tock.
Scurrying to another class.
Tick tock.
Again we are under the mercy of time.
Tick tock.
Speed it up.
Tick tock.
I think time doesn’t like any of us;
After all in the end it forces out fate- our death.
Tick tock.
Tick tock.
Tick tock.
