Untitled
Lavender figure dance for me.
You’d never guess she’d have
This awful darkness disease.
Little girl lavender’s heart moves in the rhythm of hoof beats.
She’s turning
She’s spinning
She’s twirling
Her lavender dress.
I, the ribbon of darkness, is smiling at little lavender girl.
How could someone so happy
Be so close on the verge of death?
She sees me looking, smiles back like this all just a summer night at a barbeque.
I almost hesitate
But then I wouldn’t be doing what I do.
I can’t be a hesitator. I can’t pity the sick.
She takes one last look at the moon, nods in agreement as the last tear she’ll ever shed slides down her cheek.
And that’s the last of my little lavender girl.
Why don’t you dance for me little boy blue?
