what you are to me
Any friend of yours is a friend of mine.
Your absence makes my heart grow fonder.
Sometimes I wonder if you have ants in your pants
You live life as free as a bird
I kick you out of the kitchen because you simply can’t stand the heat.
You are the last on my list but certainly not the least.
Around you I lay my cards on the table.
Your love makes me blind.
Your garbage is my treasure.
When I stuck out like a sore thumb you tucked me in.
I want to take a picture of you, every day, so that it will last longer for when I am gone.
Your are cliché.
I am sorry,
A famous man once told me,
“You must avoid clichés like the plaque”
Don’t worry time heals all wounds.
