Do You Know My Name?
The camera flashes
A young girl screams
My diamonds glitter
My earrings gleam
My pink stilettos
My shiny dress
The camera’s here
And so is the press
My heart is empty
My bank is full
I have no more friends
Just the media’s pull
I come home one night
And all is clear
Guess through all the parties
And all the beer
My eyes have opened
And because of fame
I realized now
I don’t know my own name
