I want to know what age I’ll stop caring about people 

what age will I stop trying to learn the chords to understanding 

and be content with the lonely tune of survival

I want to know what age I’ll start sacrificing the future for a serial killing centerpiece

on display so everyone knows that this a war zone 

well this isn’t a war zone but my neighbors house is

or the school I’m forced to be at 

because teaching children to walk on the fine line of social standards is just as important as education 

Or the grocery store my mom takes me to because im 16 years old and need help surviving 

a dark room with locked doors and silent screams does nothing to help me survive 

I want to know what age this starts so I won‘t be there for it 

cause I would rather be 6 feet under
