Structures to call home
Bright-colored beaches
The smooth and gentle glide of waves
Salty air brushing through trees
Grainy sand
Loose gravel

Tires spray gravel
Pastel paint covers the home
Shoes filled with sand
Stroll along the beaches
Bananas in the trees
The thunder of crashing waves

Rough storm waves
Mud mixed with gravel
Wind-blown trees
A torn up home
Still beaches
Splayed-out sand

Debris in the sand
Seaweed fills the waves
Tar-stained beaches
Polluted gravel
The spray painted home
Limp and bent trees

Hawk nests in the trees
Crabs feeding in the sand
Animals call this home
Fish swimming against waves
Lizards scurry across gravel
Life fills the beaches

A place at the beaches
A place in the trees
A place on the gravel
A place within the sand
A place inside the waves
Many call this place a home

I walk pass trees, across the gravel
I play in the sand of the beach
This is my home, waves and all.
