Real Nothingness
Somehow someway, I lost myself,
in all of this, in all of you.
You built me up and broke me down
and now I’m not sure what’s real.
I can’t find solid ground,
my footing is slipping.
Each time I think I’m okay,
it’s a false realization, that I’m better today.
Alone, it’s safe to think,
to believe my own mind, or so I thought.
In time I’ll find,
myself, my life, and a new.
Until then I’ll stay, lost in an oblivion of wonder and lies,
on a bed of hidden truths and daggers I’ll lay,
until the rain clears the hallucination,
and I feel real nothingness.
