Pageant Queen
There was a Pageant Queen, full of herself she may seem.
However, she does not follow that common-thought theme.
A known, gorgeous girl all around;
A charitable girl she was crowned.
For she was not judged on looks,
She was judged on being a good person by the books.
Dressed properly everywhere she went,
Dressing to impress was her true intent.
Kind, loving, and selfless she was.
Her only recognition was an applause.
Helping young girls was her goal.
As a pageant queen, this was her roll.
To make them feel beautiful in their own skin.
Teaching them self-confidence would help them begin.
She taught that differences set everyone apart,
And the only thing that matters is the intent within their hearts.
At the end of her reign,
She was in so much pain.
Yet, she was excited to give her crown away,
Because she knew that the new queen would use her crown the right way.
