All I Need is a Friend
A friend to call mine
Someone who offers what they can
When you’re sitting there crying
Hoping the day would soon end
And the sun would go down
But when that one friend is there
You have something to look forward to at school
No matter how much you get made fun of
Red hair
Greenish blue eyes
Light complexion
Tall average body
Nothing pleasurable to look at
But I am sweet funny caring and kind
I give a shoulder to cry on
And a hand to wipe the tears away
I can kick back and chill
Not caring about what happens around me
But do you know what people see?
They see emotions flowing from my body
And they think I’m a psycho path
When truly my heart has been broken too many times
And the “friends” I thought I had
Walked away when they saw the scars…
