The Darkness

The darkness is so close.
And the light is so far.
I wish that the light wasn't so far away from me.
I don't want the darkness.
It's what turned my heart black.
It's what made my soul decay.
So I pray for the light to destroy the darkness.
But the light is to faint.
So I stay in the pitch black darknesss all alone, hoping for the light to overcome the darkness and save me soon.
