Easy
You said you’d never get over me
“I’ll love you forever,” he said
Those words began to stick with me
But I know now that it shouldn't have
You made it look so easy
As you said words that moved me to tears
Those final words that could kill
But I’d drop on my knees and swear
I still have feelings for you
It’s so hard hearing you talk about her (Baby, I swear this is killing me)
This is the hardest thing
Watching you slowly fall in love with someone else
You made it seem so easy
When you said more painful words:
“I don’t love you anymore/”
Those exact words echoing in my mind, the words stabbed me in the heart
I’ll never forget that day
It’s not that easy for me
Those words I’ve heard from you
I wish I could only say them to you, but it’d be a lie
The words are written in the sand:
“I’m still not over you.”
You made it look so easy
As you said words that moved me to tears
