Notes drizzle gently
Down ivory keys!
The simple sound of Beethoven
Stirs everyone from their slumber!
Music, betrothed to my Grandma’s
Piano, attracts many suitors
Eager for the next piece!

This poem is dedicated to my grandmother who died shortly after winter break.
