I chose to focus my 6-word memoirs on the NBA finals from June 14th, 2019 in which the Golden State Warriors played the Toronto Raptors. During the intense faceoff I had an idea for a poem from what the scene was like: the Warriors called a timeout. However, the Warriors didn’t have a timeout with less than 1 second left. Then there was a foul and the Raptors made the free-throw. I made my 6-word memoir on the last few minutes of the finals and the intense pressure to win for both teams.
