There's no steady beat following your throbbing
hearts weary rhythm.
Only Echos of sighing breaths.
No hint of distant memories cascading off smooth
piano keys.
Only bits and pieces of shattered happiness.
No rise of emotions as lyrics slip deep into your
soul.
Only the droning seas of dry and afflicted thoughts.
No burning feelings when you remember the times you lost to love.
Only the bitter wind of broken affection.
Just the long buzz of nothingness singing into your
hungry ears.
Yes, silence is the saddest song.
