Poet's Interlude MAG
an interlude
intermission of the heart
declaring newfound liberation
before we must depart
velvet hands of their poet,
this reprise i will embark
a memoire i will forfeit,
to emerge from the dark

This poem was inspired by great change in my life, specifically my soon departure to college, though it could easily appeal to anyone. In other words, it can translate to the auther telling the people/person they love that it is time to leave, and although it may bring grief, it will bring so many great things as well. Great opportunities are to come, and every pain you have ever felt within yourself can be rewritten with time.
