Adversity to pressure
It was tied with 5 seconds left, the other guy was trying to escape.I was so nervous because letting people down. I was trying my best so he does not by putting pressure on him but it did not work. Coaches were yelling Short time. Short time. Short time. I slammed him back to the mat but he shot up and got up fast and got a point. I felt like I let everyone down. But my coach said “look at me, I want you before the next match to find a way to dial in and be happy, not nervous or sad”. Next match I won.
This is a small paragraph on my first wretling match and the pressure that I had on that match and how my coach help me grow to become a better reacter and have a better mindset.
