Beautiful
The rain falls,
Washing the red away,
I see pink tendrils swirl around my feet,
And I smile to myself,
I look up to see my rose garden shining,
Crying for the loved ones they lost,
With crystal tears,
The tendrils swirl faster as the rain pounds
And soon the pink is gone,
Replaced by the roses tears ,
I grip the stem in my hand with curiosity,
Then look down to see the tendrils back,
And I whisper “Beautiful…”
Before I fall to my knees,
And watch the sun fall.
