Darkness

Darkness
Behind me, I see Darkness.
I run away from the Darkness.
The Darkness stays there.
I look beside me, I see Darkness.
I run away from that wall of Darkness.
It too, stays there.
I turn around,
Darkness surrounds me.
I sit down.
I see a tiny hole of light opening from the Darkness.
It is hope.
I walk towards the light.
It pushes me away,
leading me closer to the Darkness.
The Darkness tries to pull me in.
I struggle for freedom as the Darkness tugs on to my dignity.
It pulls me in.
I give up.
I soon become a part of the Darkness.
