Love Poems
Part One.
From a different world
A soul that was meant to be
How I reach out from the afterworld,
I give myself hope, I tell myself maybe,
Only to know that our fates cannot be crossed,
Only to know that it’s all hopeless hope,
Only to know that it would all be tossed,
Only to know that it’s useless to mope,
I know that it’s nonsense,
It’s a sad, one-way relationship,
I pray at my expense,
But it’s hopeless to dream of that companionship,
But my soul keeps hoping, praying, waiting for you,
Don’t worry, I’ll always be here longing, my sweet,
Love, I’ll wait a thousand years for you,
Longing for the day we finally meet
Part Two.
A simple, small word starts all of it,
You insist that you’re right
That you are always right,
That I’ll come crawling back for you once again very soon.
You yell at me,
Saying how I can be your best friend when I act like this.
I want to buy you a coke,
To apologize and talk it all out,
Like we always do.
But this time, a petty apology won’t make things better for us.
A petty ‘sorry’ won’t do anything.
We should leave this alone,
Give it time…
Hopefully,
You’ll forgive me once again very soon, my love.
I really do hope that.
I really do.
Part Three.
One Day...
We could be happy,
We could live and love,
We could laugh and cry.
Always honey,
That was what he told me,
If you believe me, take me,
But that day may not come,
in a million years
So it comes down to one question,
Do you trust me?
Part Four.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Are you’re still my love,
Just me and you?
Part Five.
Just before I lost you,
I had everything in the world,
I was the richest person alive even though
my only possessions were overflowing bursts of love that I have felt for you.
I had everything I wanted,
I was happy as my heart could be,
You were worth living for.
You were worth going through all that pain and sadness.
You were my life source.
Now,
every single second hurts like sharp thorns stabbing me.
It hurts so much to breathe.
Every time I do,
I have this tight feeling in my chest.
It hurts so much to think.
Every time I do,
I think of you.
It hurts so much to live.
Every time I try to,
It just hurts.
So many memories flooded into my mind,
so many good times that we had together.
Every time that I spent with you was so magical,
The golden dust swirling around us.
You never made me feel like I was alone in this world.
I used to have everything.
But now I have nothing.
Because you are now gone.
I’m so sorry…
My beautiful darling,
I never told you that I loved you.
I have genuinely loved you,
my dear light and joy.
And now,
I truly have nothing.
