The Fish of Christmas
When snow is upon the ground,
and families are celebrating all around.
There is one Norwegian tradition,
that everyone looks out for.
It starts with potatoes,
meatballs, and fresh berries.
But, is followed by something much stranger.
Everyone beware the encompassing,
smell that clings onto anything passing by.
That accompanies the only fish,
that wobbles like jello.
