Always Rejudge

This is so unfair

They keep me on the sidelines like worthless, juvenile junk and make me jut out my tongue

I try harder, I practice harder, I work harder, and I am better

They treat me unfairly because of what I was

I wish they could just see

If they paid attention they would know of my improvement

In the game only the best remain

I am faster and more skilled, if only I had not been so bad

I am judged by what I was and not by what I am

This just makes me so mad

I would probably have to do cartwheels and flips for them to notice me

Why, oh why, was I cursed with this beginning

I wish they could just see the new me

I wrote this poem after, once again, hardly getting to play in a sport I played, but the original idea was from how I get so fed up with my soccer coach because he just cannot see how good I became.
