The Huge Hill
A one minute drive and we are there.
Up the hill,
across the highway,
and down the street.
All my friends are sitting at the kitchen table eating.
My mom is still here
talking to Mrs. Amanda,
the daycare lady.
It’s my favorite, cinnamon rolls!
I sit down to grab one.
The short round table with small plastic chairs
and tennis balls on the bottom of each.
Later in the day it’s cold and snowy
so we go outside to sled.
I zip up my snow pants and put on a coat,
hat, and gloves. I’m ready.
When we get to the hill I look down and its huge!!!
Now it's just a small slope in my eyes, almost as if it shrunk.
But in reality ive just grown up.
