The Pianist and The Poet by Stefan Fitzgerald
"The Pianist and The Poet"
A pause, a turn, a whisper-
Longing on outskirts of her memory pasture.
Etched in, a passage, which sits just past her.
Stitched into melody by sins from “Mister”-
Plucked from the air, finding home in poet ear-
Inks spilled over words, breath by poignant air, brought before his brink.
A wolf, a rabbit in seek,
Of understanding, in a hunt ending in his final shriek.
A thrash, a silent dash, a poet free from burden in words they keep.

In youth, I have discovered a passion for poetry, literature, other forms of writing, and the haunting sounds of artistic expression. Creative expression is vital to me, as it provides a voice to those feelings and people that have lost their voice. I have written a poem titled "The Pianist and The Poet," which contains elements of gothic literature such as dark and intense imagery, a haunting tone, and an exploration of the human psyche.
"The Pianist and The Poet" is a gothic-styled poem that showcases a strong command of language and poetic techniques. The poem employs vivid and evocative imagery, metaphors, and personification to convey its message. The use of repetition and alliteration adds to the musicality of the poem. The poem also has a clear structure with consistent line length and rhyme scheme.
My writing style is focused on the exploration of humanity and the expression of emotions through vivid and evocative language. I believe that poetry is an art form that allows for the exploration of the deepest and darkest corners of the human experience. Through my passion for poetry, I hope to continue to create works that provide a voice to those who need it most.
Overall, 'The Pianist and The Poet' is an evocative poem that showcases my ability to use language and poetic techniques to create a haunting and poignant mood. As a young writer, I am proud to continue to explore the art of poetry and to share my work with others.
