Destiny
There, there
Down the cold wet stairs
In the darkest corner
In the dead silence she stares
Such a broken soul is she
Her face so dejectedly
Hair a mess, confused and stressed
Here, here
In this lonely, atrocious place
On the concrete floors
Where Destiny sits
She tilts back her head, slow and weary
Tired are her eyes,
They glow in the dim, wet darkness
They stare to the ceiling in hopelessness
Her hands, her fingers
She tears at her face
Digusted, rejected; in horrid disgrace
Now, here
She opens her lips
Moaning quietly then growing in sound
Louder and louder her noise lifts from the ground
She screams to her loudest
Her lungs at their fullest
Veins at their fartherest
It seems she’ll never cease
There, there
Down the cold wet stairs
In the darkest corner
In the dead silence she stares
Such a broken soul is she
She just wishes someone cared
