Complexity wraps itself around me
like thick linen cloths,
though pretty and soft
it's heavy enough to cease my air circulation,
and keep me gasping for fresh breaths
of oxygen filled with you
I try to unravel myself
but I'm not swift enough
or tough enough
or dumb enough
to try and set myself up for failure once again
because what I need is right here
he lingers in the air
what i need is simplicity
and simplicity is simply you
