How to be a Techie
Ingredients:
About a starbucks warehouse of caffeine
A week or more on a playlist full of only soundtracks
Obsessive personality
30-50 watched times of your favorite musical
A threatre
A group of Theatre kids
Mostly all black clothing
A bucket of miscellaneous screws
Way to much paint
Both lungs full of sawdust
Little to no time for anything else
Directions:
To start watch a musical or play
Use your obsessive personality to watch it 40 more times in a span of a month
Find your local theatre group and join
Then help build each set for every show
Start going to starbucks to keep energy up
While in the process of building somehow inhale a good lung or three of sawdust
Also find that every piece of clothing has paint on it
Next start TECH WEEK
Add more caffeine to your starbucks
Realize you don't have time to do anything else because of rehearsals
Also realize that people think you emo because you only wear black
After each show join your theatre friends at your local 24 hour dinner
At the end of the show, throw every screw from the show into a bucket called the miscellaneous screws that you say you'll sort, eventually.
Lastly, realize you feel better listening to your playlist because you miss being in a show.
That should be it, your know a Techie
