Dad, Where are You?
In the quiet echoes of a father's goodbye,
a symphony of emotions, beneath the sky.
Whispers of departure,
a winding path, a story to unfold.
With footsteps heavy, he walks away,
leaving behind the warmth of yesterday.
Waves of emotion crash on the shore,
a daughter’s heartache, forevermore.
For fathers depart, but love remains,
in the tears that fall like gentle rains.
A journey uncharted, a destiny unknown,
yet seeds of love, forever sown.
In the leaving, there's more than it may seem.
A father's legacy; the stars so bright,
guiding through the darkest night.
A chapter closes,
another one begins,
in the endless dance, life spins.
Now there she stands,
my ray of sunshine.
My mom is mine.
