Winds may blow
tears will fade
lies will be told
and deals will be made
happiness cut short
hate will grow
life in abundant
go with the flow
Words left unspoken
the table unset
hearts broken
love is not let
Butterflies still emerge
hearts are still stopped
breaths getting deeper
love not fully dropped
Black and white papers
Pens full of ink
jotting down feelings
things that we think
Words are mumbled
barely understood
do you know my feeling?
If only you would
