Favorite Quote:
Haters, like parrots, talk much but cannot fly. Dreamers, like eagles, say nothing but conquer the skies.
“It’s too risky,” said doubters. “It’s too difficult,” said scoffers. “It’s pointless,” said mockers. “It’s impossible,” said haters. “It’s already done,” said believers.”

Brain wide awake in the middle of the night,
Trying to calm my fragile heart down,
Will I ever win this horrid fight?
For how long will this struggle go on?
Overthinking, over feeling,
Trying to sort out emotions from facts,
Useless it seems my attempt to ease my mind,
Because the Deja Vu always comes back,
Hurting myself trying to heal myself,
I always end up back in the same place,
The fight always beats me down,
Will my thoughts ever give me some space?

Overthinking can more often than not hurt the overthinker. As someone who overthinks quite often, I wrote this poem to express what it feels like to be an overthinker. It's a constant struggle and a battle against our own thoughts and feelings.
