Just Life
Just Life

Not every seed becomes a tree
 So I can’t help wondering,
What if the dead seed is me?

Not everyone can make a team,
 So what if it’s me
 That’s cut from first string?

Not every shot will make it in
So what if it’s me that misses the rim?

Not every child is born perfect
So what if I’m the defect
 That no one wanted?

Not every light will shine so bright
 So what if it’s me,
 That’s stuck in the night?

 No one is perfect
 I know that’s not right
 But, how do I know
 I’ll win the fight?

 Well, that’s just life.
