Golden Friendship
Becoming friends is always so easy,
Like how when we were in kindergarten,
All we had to say to each other was a simple “Hi”
And we’d instantly become inseparable.
Now, we got to do more than just a “Hi”
We got to talk, hang out, and get to know each other
And let’s face it;
In kindergarten, we only became friends with someone
Just to borrow their crayons.
Friendships are always a treasured thing,
Like gold.
A true friendship that would never falter,
Would be compared only to a priceless diamond.
Friendships that aren’t meant to last
Will just crumble and tarnish as the years drag on
It’s hard to tell where our friendship is leading,
But,
We will never know when one will end
Or when one will start,
So we got to, we have to, cherish every moment
With every friend,
Forever.
