Dear Blank Paper MAG
You stare up at me,
Laughing at me.
"Why can't you write something?
What's wrong with you?" youask
In your tormenting voice.
I stare back at you blankly,
Not knowinghow to respond.
My palms start to sweat,
The grip on my penciltightens,
And I start to gnaw my lower lip.
My unbreakable gaze couldburn a hole
Right through your arrogant body,
But still I sit, unmoving,
Untouched by the thing I seek,
Inspiration.
And like my mind,
You continue to stay blank.
