Today
Today, the moon is brighter than ever. I smile up to the Man on the Moon. He smiles back down. Down to the Earth. Down to me. Tomarrow will be different. Tomarrow there will be no smiling Man on the Moon. The whole world will weep. Tears will come down as rain. Tomarrow is the day my best friend is put in the ground. I spend these last waking moments with him. Trying to be happy. He's said, "Ladybug, don't cry. Tomarrow I'll be in an amazing place. Tomarrow I'll be in heaven. So smile. I'll be waiting at the gates for you. Just picture it. Walking in Heaven with Jesus! How grand that would be! How glorious. So don't be sad, Ladybug. I'll be with Jesus himself!" So today I sit here with my bestfriend, dreading the coming tomarrow when he, Grandad, is put in the ground.
